CEDIA (the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association) has revealed that its prestigious annual awards ceremony will be held at the majestic Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich, London on Friday 11th July 2014. Famous for its architecture, neoclassical chapel and starring roles in Hollywood films, the Old Royal Naval College is opening its doors to celebrate the ninth annual CEDIA Awards. Tracing the steps of Pierce Brosnan and Anne Hathaway, guests will enjoy the luxurious grounds at one of the most dramatically positioned architectural and landscape ensemble in Britain. As one of the most anticipated events in the residential custom install calendar, the esteemed CEDIA Awards recognises and promotes high quality system design, installation and integration within the home automation industry. Over 300 guests are expected to attend the awards presentation night which will begin with a drinks reception in King William Colonades. “We are delighted to celebrate this year’s CEDIA awards in such an iconic building rich in history,” says Wendy Griffiths, Executive Director of CEDIA Region 1. “We have been lucky enough to have an astounding precedent of past venues including The Pavilion at The Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace and One Mayfair to name but a few. The Old Royal Navy is the ideal venue to showcase architecture, custom install and design featured in the wonderful projects put forward by Home Technology Professionals (HTP).” Early Bird tickets for the black tie event, which includes a sit down dinner and drinks are priced at £135.00 per person, £2,070.00 for a full table of eighteen or £1,080.00 for a half table of nine, excluding VAT (discount is available until 31stMay 2014).
