CEDIA is rescheduling its London Tech Summit event to 4th September due to increasing concerns surrounding coronavirus.
The decision to postpone the event, which was originally due to be held on 31st March 2020, was based on CEDIA’s close monitoring of ongoing developments and recent reports from public health officials nationally and locally.
In a statement, the organisation said: “The health and safety of our sponsors, attendees and staff is of the utmost importance to CEDIA. As such, we believe this is the most prudent action to take at this time.”
The rescheduled London Tech Summit will take place on 4th September at the Business Design Centre, Islington.
It has not been decided if CEDIA will cancel other events, but the organisation is continuing to closely monitor and follow travel and safety advice and precautions recommended by the World Health Organisation (WHO) as well as by relevant government health agencies at a regional and local level.
