iPad docking and smart control solutions company, iRoom has added drivers for Crestron Home and ELAN to allow customers to extend their systems with a wired control keypad next to the iPad. The iPad does not have to be present in the docking station to perform control.
The iRoom iO iPad Docking Stations come as in-wall, on-wall or tabletop solutions and complement any control installation where the iPad is used as a control device for the control system. Quick Keys are incorporated into the glass bezel of the docking station and can be used as trigger control function in many third parts control systems independent of the iPad.
The new Crestron Home driver is available in Crestron’s online driver database or can be access directly when programming the Crestron Home system. The ELAN driver can be downloaded from the iRoom website.
The Crestron and ELAN drivers will be joining iRoom iO’s line up of control drivers from AMX, bitwise, Compass Control, Control4, Crestron, Extron, GIRA HomeServer, iRidium Mobile, Kramer, Loxone, Neets, NetX Automation, RTI, Savant, and URC.
