Crestron partners with Domotz for remote monitoring and management for integrators

Crestron has announced a strategic partnership with Domotz to empower Crestron residential systems integrators to remotely monitor their customers’ systems, while reducing support costs and improving operational efficiencies.

Crestron will be selling the Domotz Box solution directly to residential dealers, simplifying the ordering process and allowing them to take advantage of Crestron shipping benefits. 

John Clancy, VP Residential at Crestron commented on the partnership: “The ability to stay on top of their clients’ systems and diagnose issues and pre-emptively resolve them without having to open complicated VPNs or ports or roll trucks, is a game-changer for our residential dealers. It makes the Domotz Box a must-have for every project.

The partnership between Crestron and Domotz includes the Domotz Pro Mobile app, Domotz Cloud, and Domotz Network Agent. The combined solution enables integrators to do everything remotely. This includes viewing all Crestron and third-party devices live on the network, monitoring network performance in real-time, receiving customisable alerts and reports, detecting and troubleshooting network and IP device problems in real-time and pre-emptively resolving them, power device on/off or reboot, making programming and configuration changes, and performing network diagnostics, maintenance and upgrades.
