Habitech, a value-added distributor of home entertainment and automation products is boosting its powerful portfolio of integration products and services with the Wall-Smart range of innovative flush-fitting wall-mount systems for iOS and popular home-automation control screens and keypads.
Winner of the CEA 2014 Mark of Excellence Awards in the Rack or Mount’ category, Wall-Smart’s mounting system makes iPads, iPods and a wide range of control, lighting and air-conditioning keypads and touchscreens disappear in the wall. It offers completely flush, paintable and accessible mounts, custom-made for iOS, Crestron, Control4, Philips Dynalite, NuVo, Sonance, Savant, RTI, Luton Homeworks, Rako and others.
The Wall-Smart system comprises a paintable custom-built frame and back-box, designed to be installed in standard ½†(12.7mm) drywall. The device or controller sits in its designated frame and then installs in the back-box using magnets. Each system is customised for home button accessibility, as well as specific audio (speakers and microphone) and thermal requirements. Access for maintenance and device removal is easy through a simple push/release operation and the systems offer built-in security for tablets and pods. After painting in any colour or texture, the frames appear seamlessly integrated with the wall for the ultimate custom-installed, flush-fitted look.
