Hall 4.1, Stand C61, Light & Building 2014, 30.3.14 – 4.4.14, Messe Frankfurt Lutron Electronics Co. Inc. showcases the new capabilities of its Quantum® and EcoSystem® ranges at Light + Building 2014, as well as the company’s latest LED dimming solutions, guest room capabilities, RF window treatments and faceplate style additions. Smooth LED dimming control and intelligent shading Lutron is proud to announce the extension of the EcoSystem® 5-Series LED driver range at Light & Building 2014. The range is now available as a 50W LED driver that dims down to 5% for linear, pendant and recessed 600x600mm fixtures, cove lighting and LED strips. In addition a 25W LED driver is also available that dims to 1% for architectural applications, ensuring that Lutron brings versatile dimming control to a full range of applications. All Lutron EcoSystem 5-Series LED drivers provide energy saving solutions for smooth, flicker-free dimming and guaranteed control system interoperability within Lutron’s Ecosystem®. An expanded international high performance fixture list is also showcased on stand. Extended guestroom solutions Also on show at Light & Building is Lutron’s extended range of guestroom solutions that allow hoteliers to save energy and reduce costs, whilst maximising guest comfort levels. As well as light and shade control Lutron’s range of guestroom solutions has been extended to include a new thermostat control, ensuring the ultimate in ambient control. Lutron’s Quantum® total light management system maximises daylight usage Thanks to the introduction of three new capabilities, Lutron’s Quantum total light management system now offers even more opportunities for commercial users to maximise their daylight usage and minimise lighting energy consumption, and therefore, save energy and reduce operating costs. The new Lutron QP4 Hub combines a shade power panel and a Quantum processor into one component, reducing cost and installation time in commercial applications.  Incorporating Lutron’s Hyperion solar adaptive shading technology with a Quantum processor enables up to ten shade systems to be managed simultaneously and maximum daylight savings to be achieved. A new Lutron Radio Window Sensor has also been added to the Quantum Total Light Management System. The sensor communicates outdoor light levels to the Quantum system and can override pre-programmed shade levels during low-light conditions, raising shades and maximising exterior views and daylight harvesting. Equally, the sensor can override Hyperion pre-programming and close the shades when it detects too much light e.g. reflected from neighbouring buildings. Ideal for maximising available views and daylight when shadows are cast on buildings, or cloudy conditions prevail, and for minimising glare, Lutron’s new wireless sensor communicates via the company’s highly reliable Clear Connect radio frequency technology, making these wireless sensors easy to install and commission. A new configurable lighting control Lutron DIN Rail Panel has also been added to the Quantum family of products. This pre-assembled and tested power panel is configurable for multiple load-type control, making a universal solution for flexible, reliable commercial lighting control. In addition, the Lutron DIN Rail Panel is easy to use, with a low-voltage compartment for link management and simple interfacing to other systems. Colour and style for any decor New at Light & Building is Lutron’s visually stunning Glass Faceplates for its seeTouch® keypad. Made from high quality glass, these faceplates bring an attractive design option to installers and designers alike. Heat strengthened for durability, the Lutron seeTouch keypad glass faceplates can be used with a wide variety of Lutron control systems. In addition, Lutron’s recently launched Lutron Design Collection is also on stand. A compilation of over 1,500 new shades fabrics and materials, the range is supported by Design Collections Fabric App on iPad. David Ribbons, Director of Sales Northern Europe and Africa at Lutron, comments: “Light & Building 2014 gives us the perfect opportunity to show our full range of residential and commercial solutions, as well as demonstrate our systems’ capacities to smoothly dim LEDs and maximise energy savings through electric and daylight control and interconnectivity.” www.lutron.com/europe
