Sonos has rolled out a new software update today to app stores for its Arc soundbar and its recently launched portable speaker, Roam.
With the update, Arc owners can now adjust the volume of the height channels when streaming Atmos content, giving customers a new way to fine-tune their home theatre sound. To adjust the volume of Arc’s height channels, customers should open the Sonos app and go to ‘Settings’, then ‘System’, then ‘Arc’ and find ‘Height Audio’.
Today’s update also benefits Roam customers. Sonos has been working closely with its partners at Google to improve the battery life of Roam when Google Assistant is enabled. With the update, customers can now get the most out of their battery life while enjoying Google voice control.

To benefit from the updates, customers just need to update the Sonos app.
