NX Controller Series Combines High Performance with Extensive Network Centric Feature Set The market leader in AV control and management technology AMX®, a HARMAN Professional brand, has introduced the NetLinx NX Series Controllers to support the increasing number of IP-controlled AV products being managed across networks today, driving the need for increased performance and network security. While more and more AV devices can now be controlled over an IP network, a majority of these devices lack industry standard network features to ensure security and scalability. AMX NX Controller Series NX-1200 The new, next generation NX Controllers include IPv6 and 802.1x security support for connection to the network as well as dual NIC functionality to completely isolate IP-controlled AV devices. These features not only enhance security but drastically reduce the number of IP addresses required for AV technology implementations. The NX Controller Series builds on the legendary reliability of its predecessor, the NI Controller Series, which has been installed in hundreds of thousands of installations around the world. NX Controllers use half of the power of the previous generation and all models have been designed to fit into a 1 RU equipment rack space for increased efficiency and implementation flexibility. The NX Series has been designed for full backwards compatibility and adds diagnostic capabilities to ensure proper cabling implementation and to simplify integration. And, NetLinx NX Controllers include a significant increase in processor power to handle today’s processing-intensive applications, and enough on-demand power to handle applications with increased requirements in the future. All NetLinx NX Controllers will ship with the capability to be immediately configured in system designs using the AMX Rapid Project Maker (RPM) configuration resource with no programming required and auto device binding with AMX user interfaces and control accessories. www.amx.com/eu
