CasaTunes has retained COMM-TEC, a supplier of integrated audio-video, media and communication technology, as the CasaTunes distributor for Italy. As a distributor, COMM-TEC is adding CasaTunes line of multi-room music servers and streamers to its line of audio-video systems offered to integrator professionals.
Based outside Bologna, Italy, COMM-TEC Italia has a single aim to support its customers. Italy has the third-largest economy in the Eurozone and the eighth-largest in the world. As a single market, the European Union currently has 19 member states representing more than 500 million consumers. As of 2014 the European Union has the largest economy in the world.
“One of our top goals for CasaTunes is to secure distributors in all major markets with Italy being among the top 10 and the signing of COMM-TEC gives us the first one,” said Linda van Zanten with LVZ, CasaTunes’ international manufacturer’s representative. LVZ is promoting CasaTunes’ line of multi-room music servers and streamers through meetings and training to selected distributors in all major international markets.
With CasaTunes, homeowners can listen to a music collection stored on the music server hard disc, as well as listen to various popular Internet radio and music services, including Hi-Fi quality music services. Listening to music is as simple as choosing the room and then browsing or searching songs by album, artist, genre, or playlist. Schedules can even be created for falling asleep or waking up to a favorite playlist.
“CasaTunes has much to offer international integrators like COMM-TEC as we refer to our self as the “Swiss Army Knife” of whole house audio because CasaTunes offers the most comprehensive and flexible multi-room audio solution on the market today,” said Steve Guerra, VP of Business Development with CasaTunes. “Launching our European expansion from Italy gives us an entrance into the entire European Union.”
