Remote Technologies Inc. (RTI), will showcase a number of control solutions at CEDIA Expo 2015 (Booth 5742), including the ZW9 Z-Wave interface, the WK2 water-resistant in-wall keypad, and more.
The ZW9 Z-Wave interface brings simple and cost-effective monitoring and control capabilities to a wide range of Z-Wave-enabled systems and devices via an RTI control system. Using the Z-Wave wireless protocol, the module provides the communication link between RTI systems and lighting, door locks, thermostats, and other Z-Wave-enabled devices. Eliminating the need for a different app for each device, the ZW9 — combined with an RTI XP processor — provides users with unified control and monitoring over all devices directly on their RTI user interface.
The RTI WK2 water-resistant in-wall keypad is the perfect control solution for environments such as bathrooms, kitchens, and outdoor areas. Featuring a sleek, all-glass exterior construction with an integrated solid-state keypad and a monochrome OLED display, the WK2 provides convenient control of distributed audio along with other electronic systems, with the added benefit of two-way feedback. Compatible with RTI's XP processors, the keypad provides an intuitive control solution for installations where moisture is a factor, or anywhere that requires a combination of unobtrusive modern styling and custom control with feedback.

Offering integrators another alternative for affordable multi-room audio control, the KX1 in-wall keypad takes it to the next level with a 1.2-inch color OLED display with support for two-way control including song metadata and volume status. Designed to provide a sleek look in any environment, the KX1 features 11 customisable hard buttons for convenient access to control functions and a backlit volume level indicator.
Sporting a 3.5-inch color LCD display and five customisable hard buttons, RTI's KX3 in-wall touchpanel is a unique hybrid device that combines the capabilities of both a touchscreen controller and a control processor within a single cost-effective unit. This allows the flexible KX3 to be used as an all-in-one, standalone solution for control over electronic systems or integrated as an in-wall touchpanel within a larger RTI control system. Future updates to the KX3 will add even more powerful features, such as the benefits of an advanced control processor — including an astronomical clock and the ability to run two-way drivers — as well as a built-in 2.4 GHz ZigBee antenna for connectivity with RTI wireless remotes. Other advanced capabilities will include sense ports, relay control, built-in intercom, Wi-Fi, and more.
Designed to provide custom control and feedback, the innovative KX10 in-wall color touchpanel brings comprehensive onscreen management of any entertainment or environmental system to installations. Capable of providing direct control of devices via IR or RS-232, full two-way control is possible when the unit is used as part of a complete RTI control system. Featuring a 10.1-inch widescreen, capacitive touch LCD display, the flexible unit even allows video viewing via an HDBaseT video port and a composite video input for viewing sources such as security cameras. In addition, a built-in camera and microphone enables the convenience of video intercom.
Now shipping, RTI's T3x remote control combines a vivid 3.5-inch LCD touchscreen and programmable hard buttons with unparalleled functionality. The controller's dual wireless RF platform provides installation flexibility, while support for Wi-Fi enables advanced capabilities such as viewing IP security cameras and wireless programming updates.
