CEDIA Expo sees the return of Women in Consumer Technology for second consecutive year
Women in Consumer Technology returns to CEDIA Expo this year with its “Technology + Design-Build Teams = Winning!” TechTalk covering the intersection of modern technology and design.
The conference will be moderated by Danielle Karr, architect and designer program manager for Control4, and will be in the format of a 50-minute panel discussion between Stace McGee, principal at Environmental Dynamics, Inc; Sara Gutterman, co-founder and CEO at Green Builder Media; Joe Whitaker, CEDIA board member; Toni Sabatino, owner of Toni Sabatino Style; and Brian Pagel, senior vice president of Emerald Expositions.
The “Technology + Design-Build Teams = Winning!” conference is sponsored by Women in Consumer Technology and will take place on Thursday 12 September from 3:00-3:50pm on the Smart Stage located in the south end of the Colorado Convention Centre’s main upper level hall.
It will provide an all-encompassing conversation on how designers, architects, and builders can successfully work with an integrator. Those who attend the discussion will walk away with the knowledge of how to win the continually-growing collaboration of technology and design.
Sabatino commented: “Building a team at the beginning of a project that is made up of all the parties involved – interior designer, architect, builder, integrator, etc – is a much better experience when everyone knows their role and collaborates effectively. When everyone is working together from the beginning is when the best results are delivered to the client.”
Carol Campbell, founder of Women in Consumer Technology, said: “We are honoured to be invited back to the CEDIA Expo Smart Stage. This is an important topic and Danielle and her panel are very smart. Don’t miss this opportunity.”
