CEDIA partners with Houzz
CEDIA EMEA has announced a partnership with Houzz.co.uk, an online platform dedicated to homebuilding, renovation and design.
With the move, CEDIA states that it intends to broaden the resources available to its members by allowing them to use Houzz’s technology and marketing capabilities to connect with homeowners actively building, renovating, and investing in new technologies in their homes.
As part of the partnership, Houzz will create an authentication mechanism for active CEDIA members to verify their membership on the Houzz platform so homeowners can identify those who have specialised expertise in electronic design and installation.
“We have noticed that a number of our members are listed on the Houzz platform, so we sought to establish a partnership with them to enhance the offering to our members,” commented Matt Nimmons, managing director of CEDIA EMEA.
“As part of the collaboration, all CEDIA members with a Houzz profile will be verified and able to display the CEDIA badge on their page. Houzz provides our members and the wider home technology industry with a platform to showcase their work, collaborate with clients, and connect with prospective clients. We would encourage more members to sign up to this platform and display their CEDIA member credential proudly.”
