Control4 announces ‘#C4YourselfDay’ follow-up
Control4 has announced that its certified dealers across the world will take part in a second ‘#C4YourselfDay’ next month, following the first edition of the event in May.
The home automation specialist’s next event will take place globally on Thursday 18 October, 2018, following positive response earlier this year to its inaugural event on May 31 – attracting just under 3,000 consumers to over 130 events.
Control4 has had a busy 4 months since its last event – part of the unveiling of its worldwide Control4 certified showroom programme – with product announcements such as its Intercom Anywhere system, When >> Then Automation personalisation of scenes and expanded integration with the most-widely used music services.
Its dedicated event will allow home technology professionals to demonstrate all that’s new in its smart home control and automation to consumers and professionals from the design and construction world.
Visitors will also be able to experience high-performance audio demonstrations through Triad speakers with new native services including Deezer HiFi and Amazon Music, in addition to Spotify, Pandora and more.
“On C4Yourself Day, we invite both current Control4 homeowners and those curious about home technology to try out the latest features we’ve added to our smart home experience,” commented Control4 CEO and chairman, Martin Plaehn.
“We’re proud to have added new Control4 Certified Showrooms around the world in the last few months, and welcome homeowners to a nearby location to experience how Control4 can complement their lifestyle and home.”
“Since we opened the showroom we have found the experience to be extremely positive – having a reliable and consistent demo has helped us present what we offer with confidence. The future of our Certified Showroom is very exciting,” added Luke Macfarren, director of Evolve Audio Visual in Berkshire, UK.
