Stand 4S65, ISE 2014
The UK-based HDBaseT specialist broadens its range of HDBaseT products with increased functionality and innovative new products.
CYP, the world’s leading manufacturer of AV switches and audio accessories, today announces new additions to its HDBaseT range, further strengthening the company’s reputation as a leader in the field. With a line up consisting of over 50 products, including its latest 16 x 16 and 8 x 16 HDBaseT modular matrices, CYP’s latest HDBaseT product additions offer greater connectivity and more advanced ‘break-out’ options than ever, giving installers and integrators essential additional features when designing Multi-room AV systems.
The new products include:
• Multi format modular matrix
The new multi-format modular matrix offers new standards of performance and flexibility for integrators. Offering 16x16, 8x16 and 16x8 combinations of any required signal format, the matrix can be configured with HDMI, HDBaseT (4Play & 3Play Lite), DVI and VGA input and output boards. The modular matrix also delivers RS-232 pass-through, IP control, DVI monitor output and dual removable internal power supplies that allow for easy inspection and maintenance with zero down time.
• AU-A300HBT – integrated HDBaseT Digital Amplifier (Repeatable)
The AU-A300HBT is the ideal product to create a local fully-functional audio zone on an HDBaseT network. Controllable via remote control, RS-232 or IP (Web GUI or Telnet), this 30 Watts per channel digital amplifier features an integrated HDBaseT input and output and simultaneous audio inputs and outputs for both digital and analogue signals. Also featuring HDMI audio embedding, it can be used as an audio signal ‘break out’ for TV sound or as a stand-alone audio zone.
• PU-HBTE-ZE – HDBaseT Zone Extender (1 x HDMI / 1 x HDBaseT out)
The PU-HBTE-ZE HDBaseT Zone extender gives installers and integrators the ability to add additional sub zones to any HDBaseT system. As well as supplying HDMI and LAN network outlets to the primary zone, the signal can also be transmitted simultaneously via the HDBaseT output up to a further 100m over CAT5e/6/7 to create an additional, fully-functioning sub zone. The LAN functionality provides the ability to add internet connectivity to every zone, which is particularly useful when connecting SMART displays. Supporting the full HDBaseT feature set, the PU-HBTE-ZE supports the transmission of video (resolutions up to 1080p Full HD, plus 4K Ultra High Definition, and 1920x1200@60Hz), multi-channel digital audio and control via IR, RS-232 or Web GUI/Telnet IP over a single CAT5e/6/7
• EL-5500-HBT - 8 x 4 HDBaseT / HDMI / VGA presentation switch (With switchable digital bypass output)
The ideal product for commercial and education installations that require a mixture of multiple source and display connectivity options, the EL-5500-HBT accepts up to eight sources (4 x HDMI, 2 x HDBaseT, 1 x VGA and 1 x Composite) and scales and adjusts the aspect ratio of the picture out to each of its four outputs (2 x HDMI, 1 x HDBaseT and 1 x Composite). Supporting video resolutions from 480i to 1080p, the EL-5500-HBT also includes motion adaptive de-interlacing, video noise reduction and underscan/overscan, whilst the addition of digital to analogue / analogue to digital audio conversion makes it one of the most universal presentation switches available.
The above new products add to CYP’s growing list of HDBaseT solutions, which include the recently launched 16 x 16 and 8 x 16 modular matrices. By adding modular construction to its HDBaseT matrix range that allows the ‘hot-switching’ of input and output boards for maintenance, CYP again confirms its commitment to offer products with features that the market needs at prices that it can afford.
