HEOS By Denon is expanding its range of wireless multi-room sound system with the introduction of the HEOS Drive, HEOS 1 and HEOS HomeCinema. These three new products will shortly be available through HEOS By Denon’s exclusive UK distributor, AWE.
The new HEOS Drive is a four-zone, eight-channel multi-room amplifier, which covers all HEOS zones with a single 2U tall, rack mountable chassis. The functionality of this amplifier is very similar the HEOS Amp and HEOS Link. It features four HEOS zones, an eight-channel Class-D amplifier and has access to streaming music services including Spotify, Pandora, TIDAL, TuneIn, and more.
HEOS 1 joins the HEOS 3, HEOS 5 and HEOS 7 speaker family, offering an affordable, compact and portable solution. HEOS 1 doesn’t play by the same rules as the family though. Combine it with the HEOS Go Pack, and you can take it outside thanks to the rechargeable battery and even poolside, or the bathroom, with the included splash guard. It can probably handle some light rain, making it perfect for the British summer.
The HEOS HomeCinema is Denon’s first soundbar, and already it is standing out from its competitors, as it includes an HDMI input, HDMI output and HDMI ARC. The 2.1 speaker system features bi-amplified mid-woofers and tweeters with advanced DSP processing, and includes a wireless subwoofer. Featuring Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS decoding, HEOS HomeCinema decodes movie and music surround soundtracks into original discrete channels and applies Denon’s advanced proprietary DSP to deliver an immersive surround sound experience.
