Highlights from Invision’s Technology Showcase 2019

Origin Acoustics Bollard loudspeaker

Invision’s Technology Showcase took place at the UK's Mercedes Benz World last week and saw products and news from 26 manufacturers, authoritative presentations from keynote speakers, and was visited by over 250 industry professionals.

Invision’s managing director, Steve Beahan looked back at last week’s successful event: “We were delighted to have such a wide array of innovative products and thought-provoking presentations at our Technology Showcase. I am certain that everyone who attended left with a clear understanding of how they will be able to delight their customers with our premium products. The future of custom install looks set to be very exciting.”

Some of the product highlights on display at the showcase included RTI’s KA8 and KA11 keypads, Origin Acoustics’ Bollard Speakers, and ad notam’s Reflexion mirror screen televisions.

RTI control panel

RTI’s control systems on show – the KA8 and KA11 panels – allow homeowners to have simple, intuitive control of their entertainment, environment and security systems. Available in either eight-in or 11-in widescreen LCD display, the panels have 1280x800 WXGA resolution and integrated capacitive touchscreen. The panels can be mounted on the wall or can be a table-top installation using an accessory stand.

Origin Acoustics had its Bollard loudspeakers on show at the showcase. Designed for long-lasting outdoor installation, the subwoofer and wiring are all safely buried in an underground conduit for a seamless finish and solid connectivity. The speakers have an anodised-aluminium enclosure finish and the acoustic lens design and 70V technology allows sound to be heard evenly across the outdoor area.

Ad-Notam-Reflexion screen March 2019
Reflexion mirror screen TV from ad notam

The new Reflexion mirror screen television from ad notam was another popular point. The mirror television has a discreet in-wall design that can be used as either a mirror or a television. The recent partnership between ad notam and Invision meant that it was possible to create two new sizes of these mirror televisions. They are both TFT LED high resolution 16:9 displays and are available in 22-in or 32-in with a finish choice of Silver Magic Mirror or Gloss Black. They have integrated invisible speakers and a waterproof remote control.
