IMPRESSIONIST Jon Culshaw TO HOST CEDIA AWARDS 2014 CEDIA (the Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association) has revealed that TV and radio comedian, Jon Culshaw, star of BBC’s Dead Ringers will be the host of the prestigious CEDIA Awards 2014, taking place at the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich on Friday 11th July. Jon shot to fame after appearing on Steve Penk’s Capital Radio show in 1998, impersonating the former leader of the conservative party, William Hague, and being put through to Tony Blair at Number 10 for an on-air conversation! His career took off as a comic impressionist on shows including BBC’s ‘Dead Ringers’ and his own ITV show ‘The Impressionable Jon Culshaw’ and he is a regular comic contributor on TV and radio. “We are delighted that Jon Culshaw will be our host for the CEDIA awards this year,” commented Wendy Griffiths, Executive Director of CEDIA Region 1. “He’s a great entertainer and I’m sure our audience are looking forward to seeing appearances by Tony Blair, George W Bush and Russell Crowe amongst others during Jon’s performance. It promises to be a very entertaining night, indeed!” Jon will be presenting the Awards to the winners in front of over 300 guests at the dazzling black-tie ceremony. The CEDIA Awards recognises excellence in design, integration and installation within the residential custom installation sector from across Region 1 (UK and Europe, the CIS, the Middle East, Africa, India and Pakistan). www.cediaawards.org
