Chestnut Tree House cares for over 280 children and young adults from 0-25 years of age with progressive life-limiting conditions from Sussex and South East Hampshire. The hospice’s goal is to provide the best quality of life for children, young people and their families, and to offer a total package of practical, social and spiritual support throughout each child's life, however short it may be. KHT donated its time to install the new cinema room, as well as providing essential cables and networking equipment. In addition, KHT – working with Ian Morrish of ISE - sourced product donations from numerous pioneering AV brands and suppliers* to ensure the highest quality cinema room for young people and their families. All our suppliers were really keen to donate products; I did not receive any negative responses. My installers worked long hours over a few days to turn the project around and I am grateful for their hard work and dedication. We are confident the finished solution will give the children, their families and carers great movie experiences for years to come.” Sarah Arnold, Corporate Fundraising Manager for Chestnut Tree House , said, “We would like to say a huge thank you to KHT and their suppliers for giving us such a wonderful cinema room for the children. Taking a sick child to the cinema is extremely difficult and so brothers and sisters often miss out too. This fantastic new equipment will mean that children and families staying with us can enjoy the simple pleasure of going to the cinema that most of us take for granted within the comfortable and caring environment of Chestnut Tree House.” *Cinema room products donated to Chestnut Tree House hospice, and their suppliers were: JVC projector, donated by Invision UK Sapphire projector screen, donated by PSCo Integra AVR, donated by Integra Crestron Processor and controller, donated by Crestron EU B&W ceiling speakers, donated by B&W Velodyne subwoofer, donated by Redline Cinema One movie server, donated by Kaleidescape Gefen Enhanced HDMI cable, donated by Digi-Box Middle Atlantic Credenza cabinet, donated by RGB Communications Crestron programming, donated by Synergy Controls www.kensingtonhometechnology.com www.chestnut-tree-house.org.uk www.togetherforcinema.co.uk
