Distributor, OneAV has announced that going forward, it will distribute Cel-Fi, a brand solving dropped calls, poor voice quality and low data throughput caused by weak cellular signals.
This new partnership adds to OneAV’s ever-growing portfolio of smart home products.
Network issues are common when using smartphones, with 50 per cent of users experiencing them frequently. With 80 per cent of phone calls being made inside, poor network, slow download speeds, or even signal loss can create problems for people using their smartphones at home or at work. Cel-Fi optimises cellular coverage in residential, business and transportation environments and applications giving full coverage everywhere.
OneAV’s director, James Trumper, said: “Network coverage problems are something everyone has experienced at some point or another, and we’re thrilled we can now offer installers the chance to eliminate this from their client’s homes, offices, or even their vehicles. We’re really happy to be the only distributor within the CI channel collaborating with Cel-Fi and see a great future ahead of us. Trade account holders can look forward to the usual benefits OneAV offers – such as credit accounts, trade discounts, and easy-ordering.”
Colin Abrey, vice president channel sales, EMEA, at Nextivity – developer of Cel-Fi – added: “With smartphones being central to all personal and business communications, having poor mobile coverage in a private residence is unacceptable. By installing our cellular enhancement solution, such as Cel-Fi QUATRA, not only does it provide seamless coverage throughout a building, it facilitates the remote management of smart home technologies. Our product range is the only one that is compliant with Ofcom’s licence-exempt specification and works on all networks. We look forward to a prosperous business relationship with OneAV.”
Cel-Fi’s product range is available for installation immediately, but OneAV suggests completing training to make things easier, faster and more cost-effective.
OneAV is holding training days for Cel-Fi on the following dates (with more to be announced):
• July 8-9th at Swindon Basepoint Business Centre
• July 23rd at St Neots – CEDIA EMEA
• July 31st at The Haysfield, Malvern
