Funai has announced two new Philips 4K TVs in time for CES 2019 which kicks off next week.
It has also been confirmed that Philips will be bringing Android support to the US for the first time with these new. Android TV is already supported in other regions by Philips.
The new TV, officially called the Philips 4K UHD Android TV, has two separate series: 5704 and 5904. The TVs in the 5704 series are available now through “selected retailers” but the 5904 series won’t be launched until the second half of 2019.
Screen sizes of both series of the new TVs are available in five sizes: 43, 50, 55, 65 and 75 inches and they start at $349.99.

Both series will have an integrated near-field microphone allowing users to talk to Google Assistant through the TV. However, the 5904 series will have a far-field microphone that allows use of Google Assistant from a further distance. Chromecast support will also be available in both series of the new TV.
