NEW! Pro.zwi Z-Wave Interface
Designed to be used with Pro Control's advanced ProLink.z processor, the Pro.zwi Z-Wave interface makes it simple and cost-effective to provide control and automation capabilities over an extensive list of electronics. Utilizing the Z-Wave wireless protocol, the module provides the communication interface between a Pro Control system and a home or commercial facility's lighting, door locks, thermostats, and other Z-Wave-enabled devices. Eliminating the need for a different app for each Z-Wave device, the Pro.zwi paired with the ProLink.z processor provides users with unified control and monitoring over all devices — including components controlled by IR, IP, RS-232, and relay — directly on their Pro24.z remote or iOS device running the ProPanel app. Unlike many other automation solutions, there are no Z-Wave licensing fees or monitoring charges.
NEW! Pro Control Pro.rfz Wireless Range Extender
Pro Control's Pro.rfz wireless range extender dramatically extends the wireless communication range between a Pro24.z remote control and ProLink.z processor. Perfect in larger installations, the Pro.rfz makes it simple and cost effective to bolster 2.4 GHz ZigBee® wireless networks and extend them to additional areas of a home or commercial facility. This provides users with powerful two-way control and feedback of supported electronics, allowing them to view song metadata, lighting and temperature levels, and more on their Pro24.z remote. The Pro.rfz communicates wirelessly with the ProLink.z processor up to 70 feet away and is conveniently powered from any electrical outlet. For increased reliability in larger installations, multiple modules can be utilized within a single system to create a wireless 2.4 GHz ZigBee RF network that instantly adapts to the environment for greater accuracy.
ProLink.z/Pro24.z Two-Way Control and Feedback System
The Pro Control ProLink.z control processor and the award-winning Pro24.z touch-screen controller work together to deliver the ultimate control experience. The ProLink.z features an integrated 2.4-GHz ZigBee® antenna for bi-directional communication via the Pro24.z, in addition to two RS-232 two-way ports for advanced control and monitoring of devices. Sporting a sleek, sophisticated design, the Pro24.z controller features a high-resolution 2.4-inch TFT LCD touch-screen display, programmable five-way joystick, and backlit hard buttons to enable intuitive operation even in a darkened room. The powerful ProLink.z processor stores macros for professional-grade control and features an abundance of control options, including sense events, periodic events, and driver events that can run macros at sunrise or sunset to control lighting, shades, and HVAC. In addition, six routable IR ports with adjustable output strength and two voltage-sensing inputs improve management of connected devices, while an Ethernet port provides network control of a virtually unlimited number of devices. Pro Control's ProPanel app is also available for the ProLink.z control processor, giving users complete two-way control and feedback over any Pro Control system from the convenience of their iPod touch®, iPhone®, or iPad®.
Pro Control ProPanel App
The ProPanel app gives end users complete control over any Pro Control system containing any ProLink control processor from the convenience of their iPod touch®, iPhone®, or iPad®. Remarkably easy to program and use, the app displays in both portrait and landscape views by rotating the Apple® device, with no additional programming required. Additionally, the ProPanel app sports a completely customizable graphical user interface, giving end users a consistent user experience across all Pro Control remote controllers in their system. ProPanel supports local connection via Wi-Fi® and offers remote-access capabilities via auto-switching Wi-Fi and wireless cellular data — providing users with convenient control and monitoring from virtually anywhere in the world. ProPanel stands above the rest by enhancing the control experience with unique capabilities such as full two-way feedback including cover art, weather graphics, dynamic image lists, and high-resolution graphics for the newest generation of iPad.
iPro.8 Companion Controller
Designed for end-users that enjoy using their Apple® smartphone or tablet as the primary controller for their electronic systems, the low-cost Pro Control iPro.8 companion controller adds the convenience of a dedicated remote with instant connectivity and hard buttons for tactile control. The iPro.8 remote works as an extension of the ProPanel app running on an iPod touch®, iPhone®, or iPad®. It gives users the hard buttons and tactile control to which they are accustomed and provides immediate access to common functions such as changing channels, controlling the volume, and DVR transport. The stylish remote overcomes network connectivity issues by using proven and reliable RF technology for instantaneous communication, and is designed for use with any Pro Control ProLink processor with an activated ProPanel app.
"At CEDIA EXPO 2014, Pro Control will introduce powerful new additions to our product lineup that attendees won't want to miss. The new Pro.zwi Z-Wave interface facilitates the integration of a variety of Z-Wave-enabled devices into one intuitive control interface, eliminating the need for separate two-way drivers for every device — saving both time and money. We will also highlight the Pro.rfz wireless range extender, which provides a cost-effective solution for expanding the convenience of two-way control and feedback over larger areas. With our robust product family and these new innovations on display, we are looking forward to a great show," says Mike Everett, General Manager for Pro Control.
