Samsung Electronics is showcasing its vision for smarter living at the Samsung EU Forum 2015 in Monaco. In addition showcasing its 88-inch SUHD TV, Samsung is also launching new audio solutions in Europe that deliver a premium sound experience, and smart home appliances inspired by professional chefs to give home cooks a better experience in the kitchen.
“Samsung is all about delivering amazing experiences, and we can do this because of our absolute focus on the needs of consumers,” says BK Yoon, CEO and President of Samsung Electronics.
Samsung is showcasing the 88-inch JS9500 TV, powered by its exclusive, eco-friendly, nano-crystal display technology and intelligent SUHD capabilities. SUHD TV’s nano-crystal transmit different colours of light depending on their size to produce the highest color purity and light efficiency available today. This technology provides viewers with 64 times more colour expression than conventional TVs.
Collaborating with 20th Century Fox, Samsung is optimising content to deliver premium quality of SUHD and give consumers an unrivaled viewing experience. Most recently, Samsung partnered with the Fox Innovation Lab to re-master the critically acclaimed film, Life of Pi, specifically for SUHD TV delivering images with more vivid and lifelike colours than ever before.
From 2015, all new Samsung Smart TVs will be powered by the Tizen operating system, which not only provides better connectivity, but also gives developers a more robust and easier platform to create applications for. Most importantly, it ensures that consumers will have access to a much broader range of Smart TV content and services.
Samsung will offer three new series of SUHD TVs, JS9500, JS9000 and JS8500 from 48 to 88-inches.
Samsung is bringing innovative audio products to Europe that give consumers a more dynamic, surround-sound audio experience. Developed by Samsung’s new state-of-the-art audio lab in California, the WAM7500/6500 deliver a unique, 360-degree sound experience thanks to Samsung’s unique ring radiator technology.
