Steinway Lyngdorf, a high-end audio manufacturer in partnership with Steinway & Sons, will release its long-awaited fully digital 4-channel amplifier at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2014, one of the most important events of the audio industry. Held this year in Amsterdam, ISE will take place from February 4 – 6 at Amsterdam RAI exhibition and Convention Center.
The Steinway Lyngdorf Model A2 4-channel amplifier was teased with a sneak peek at CEDIA Expo in September 2013, where it met with rave reviews. Like the Model A1, its 2- channel counterpart, the Model A2 utilizes fully digital amplification. This means that nothing gets between you and your sound. Without sound-deteriorating digital-to-analog conversions, the digital signal drives the speakers directly, with no translation and no middleman. This unique and technically demanding solution offers clear replay at all sound levels, an unsurpassed dynamic range, and the purest sound possible.
Furthermore, the incorporation of the Steinway Lyngdorf Digital Link conveys the original digital signal from the processor to the amplifier, thus ensuring that signal processing is handled 100% in the digital domain.
The Model A2 offers a lower price point than its alternative set-up, two Model A1 amplifiers, thus delivering over-the-top performance without an over-the-top price.
In addition to exciting live demonstrations in the Demo Room (Room E108), the Model A2
will also be featured at Steinway Lyngdorf’s ISE Show Booth, 11-P60. Other highlights at the booth will include:
- Steinway Lyngdorf’s new rear-firing Boundary Woofers and a wide selection of speakers, from the compact S - Series to the immensely powerful Model LS Concert.
- Demos of Steinway Lyngdorf’s flagship Model D systems.
“When we saw what happened at last year’s trade show sneak-peeks, with standing-room- only crowds in the demo rooms, we knew this launch was going to be a very exciting event,” said Thomas Birkelund, CEO of Steinway Lyngdorf. “We cannot wait to release the Model A2 amplifier at ISE, and we’re looking forward to celebrating with the customers who have been patiently awaiting its arrival.”
