When most people look at high end AVR they will undoubtedly come across a Yamaha AVENTAGE AV receiver. Built to last, perform and excite anyone who owns one of these outstanding pieces of technology. As time moves on, so must technology, and it is with that in mind that we are very excited to introduce the new AVENTAGE AV receiver line-up for Yamaha, which follows on from the award winning and globally successful RX-A30 series. Time to meet the RX-A840, RX-A1040, RX-A2040 and RX-A3040! Included in the AVENTAGE line-up is the BD-A1040 Blu-ray player, completing the home theatre media solution. Yamaha AVENTAGE RX-A840 RX-A1040 RX-A2040 RX-A3040 This time around, all four of our AV receivers in the AVENTAGE RX-A40 series feature wireless technology built right in to the box. Now you can wirelessly stream audio from your smart device to AV receiver, or stream video to your Blu-ray player. No adapters, no complications, just a complete media solution. There are a variety of ways for you to connect to your AVENTAGE receiver. You could use WPS, PIN entry, iOS wireless sharing or even use Wireless Direct to connect directly to a smart device for 1 to 1 streaming and control. Open up the Yamaha AV Controller App, available free from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, and you can control your AVENTAGE unit with ease. You can even control multiple zones and have multiple devices connected at the same time, allowing you to enjoy a movie in your home theatre but someone else to enjoy music in the bedroom. As well as wireless technology built into the box, there’s a host of network streaming options available: Spotify Connect, Napster, HTC Connect, MusicPlay, Airplay, DLNA and vTuner; so you’re never too far away from your music and discovering new music. If you use Spotify and have a premium account, you can take full advantage of the Spotify Connect streaming functionality combined with the AVENTAGE receiver’s zone functions. Send Spotify Connect to Zone 2 while your home theatre is in use all through the Yamaha app and Spotify’s own app. All the new AVENTAGE receivers feature the latest HDMI specification, with the ability to pass through 4k/60p signals. You can also upscale your 1080p signals to 4k using any one of the AVENTAGE AV receiver line-up. The RX-A3040 can even upscale an SD signal all the way to 4k if you so choose. The AVENTAGE receivers are based on Yamaha’s Total Purity Concept. Fully discrete power amplifiers minimise distortion, and independent pure power supplies prevent digital noise from affecting analogue circuitry. Independent DAC power supplies also reduce noise and large heatsinks dissipate heat and suppress vibration. Especially noteworthy in these new models are the refined circuit configurations and the use of high performance ESS DACs. In every way, these models are designed to deliver the highest possible sound quality. In short, the AVENTAGE audio design concept is ‘uncompromising excellence’. By combining traditional and innovative technologies, including the ART Wedge, aluminium front panel, highest quality parts and a rigid chassis with H-shaped cross member frame, every factor that affects sound quality is optimized for superb musical performance.
