ABB’s OneTouch panel unifies home automation and door communication

ABB has announced OneTouch, a touch panel that integrates smart home and door communication systems into a single device.

OneTouch acts as a smart home hub, integrating the System Access Point, providing connectivity to ABB-free@home wireless devices, and Matter-enabled devices – all managed from one single panel. It also visualises and controls ABB-free@home wired functions, connecting an entire home and ensuring smooth and intuitive interactions.

Its compatibility with Matter-enabled devices ensures broader interoperability with other smart home products and platforms, such as Apple HomeKit, Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Samsung SmartThings.

ABB says it is easy to install and commission and offers dual-band Wi-Fi support (5 GHz + 2.4 GHz) and compatibility with Welcome 2-wire, and soon ABB-Welcome IP door communication systems. It is designed with a quality display to deliver excellent colour reproduction, wide viewing angle, and a responsive touch interface. A built-in temperature sensor also enables direct climate control.

OneTouch is 10mm deep when flush mounted and is available in white and black. The panel features ABB’s newly developed user interface.
