Creston will dedicate a substantial part of its booth at ISE 2020 to the showcasing of residential products, with an event in Heathrow, London, providing a sneak peek into what will be on offer at the show.
Apple kit support for Apple TVs was unveiled at the event, allowing users to use the Crestron home app, fully integrating with the Crestron home system.
Users can use a Crestron touchscreen or TSR 310 remote to control the system.
IP control is available from any Crestron user interface, with Siri voice control being available with the TSR 310.
Improved smart TV support is also included, allowing smart TVs to integrate IP control through Crestron Home.
Access to streaming apps is also supported including Netflix, Prime Video, Apple TV and Youtube.
Creston also unveiled its MC4R control four series processor, an ARM processor that can be mounted on a rack, shelf or wall.
The MC4R features PoE power and a built in infiNET Ex gateway, allowing wireless lighting controls to connect with the MC4R natively.
Four direct IR ports are included as well as com ports and relays built in, with the MC4R is expected to launch in February around ISE.
For products that cannot tie into the system via InfiNET Ex or Ethernet, control is available via the Crestron home app. The four series is expected to replace Crestron’s three series processors over the next few years.
Creston is also debuting its new development language at ISE, HTML5.
HTML5 is more commonly used as a standard development environment for websites, allowing users to create a user experience in HTML5 and Crestron, with support for HTML5 being offered on Crestron touchscreens, iOS and Android devices.
Language and localisation support is also supported with HTML5.
In addition to new product launches, Crestron announced that its systems can now fully integrate with Lutron, using Crestron Home OS3 to integrate with Lutron to control lighting and shade systems.
New for ISE 2020, Crestron will also be featuring an ‘Innovative section’ on its booth, allowing Crestron to debut new concepts and product developments that will be available in the future.
