NAD Electronics launches power amps

NAD has unveiled products including C 328 integrated and C 268 power amps as part of its 45th anniversary celebrations.

The C 328 (£500) is the brand’s latest entry-level integrated amplifier, sitting below the C 338, C 368 and C 388 models, and offering Class D amplification outputting 50W per channel into 8 ohms.

The C 328 incorporates one less RCA that its sister model, the C 338, and does not feature WiFi but does pack in Bluetooth connectivity, as well as two line-level inputs, optical and coaxial digital inputs, and a MM phono input. It is priced at £500 in the UK.

Coming in slightly higher (priced at £750 in the UK) is the NAD C 268, capable of providing 80W per channel into 8 ohms - or 300W in bridged mode. The entry-level amp also has the ability to automatically switch between balanced and RCA inputs upon detection (via its auto-sense feature) and incorporates line-outs allowing for bi-amped or tri-amplified configurations. The NAD C 268 will be released in December.
