Optoma introduced the ML1080 and ML1080ST projectors at InfoComm this week, packing a wide BT2020 colour gamut into a tiny unit that projects an image of 100-in from 1.5m away.
The portable RGB triple laser projectors offer full HD 1080p native resolution and 1,200 lumens of brightness, while the 0.78:1 short throw ratio delivers an up to 100-in image from 1.5m.

Weighing around 1kg, both projectors are equipped with Time-of-Flight (ToF) technology, that delivers automatic geometric and focus correction, and four-corner correction.
The ML1080 and ML1080ST have the lowest carbon footprint of any product within the Optoma portfolio, using 58% less electricity than Optoma’s lamp-based projectors. The projectors also use 50% post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials.

Built-in smart functions support wireless sharing of content using Optoma’s Creative Cast feature which allows for simultaneous image, document, and screen sharing from up to four devices on one network. The projectors’ signage mode enables instant slideshow functionality for images and videos. The ML1080 and ML1080ST also come with an adaptor for RS-232 control.?
