Optoma launches 460g Android projector for the home

Optoma has announced the launch of the ML330, an ultra-compact LED projector powered by Android and with built-in WiFi.

Designed for flexible use around the home, Optoma’s portable HD-ready ML330 projector incorporates integrated 2W speakers and connectivity options including WiFi, Android, Bluetooth, HDMI and MHL (for compatible mobiles and tablets) into one 460g package.

The projector is able to play content directly from a USB memory stick or microSD card, in addition accessing media and streaming services, TV shows and video clips. Its “smart” interface also supports the downloading of apps such as Netflix and YouTube. An additional mini jack input and mini jack is also on hand for audio input.

The ML330 offers 500 LED brightness and up to 20,000 hours of brightness (with a contrast ratio of 20,000:1), as well as full 3D support and automatic keystone correction when the projector is not centred directly in front of the projection surface. It can project a screen sizes ranging from 10-in to 120-in (0.25 - 3.05m) diagonal.

Optoma’s newest projection offering measures 157 x 122 x 35mm (w x d x h) in total and is available in two colours.
