Optoma launches new CinemaX D2 Projector series

Optoma has added a new series of smart 4K UHD ultra-short-throw (UST) projectors to its portfolio, the CinemaX D2 Series.

The new series can project 100” images from just 30cm away, displaying true 4K UHD resolution with 8.3 million on-screen pixels. It also has HDR and HLG compatibility with HDR brightness adjustment.

For gamers, the projector series features enhanced gaming mode, delivering blur-free visuals and fast input lag with a 16ms response time in 4K at 60Hz and 4ms in 1080p at 240Hz for a competitive gaming advantage. Ideal for fast action gaming, it delivers ultra-smooth fluid motion and reduced ghosting.

When watching normal TV or movies, the CinemaX D2 gives access to over 400,000 movies, TV shows, live sports, and can play music and games across streaming services. Users can also customise the home screen to display favourite apps for quick access.

Using an advanced built-in geometric correction tool, users can adjust the position of individual points to get the image perfectly rectangular when setting the projector up. This is an especially ideal function when you have an uneven surface to project onto.

Equipped with super-efficient DuraCore laser technology, users can enjoy up to 30,000 hours of use.

The projector has built-in speakers featuring eARC audio with support for Dolby Atmos pass through.
