Polk Audio has introduced its latest soundbar system, the ultra-compact MagniFi Mini AX, delivering immersive audio through built in Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, optimised through Polk’s patented SDA technology.
Ideal for music and movie lovers alike, the MagniFi Mini AX utilises a one-cable connection that connects easily to any TV via HDMI eARC/ARC (HDMI cable included), optical, or AUX-in.
It also comes equipped with a powerful wireless down-firing subwoofer to add rich and deep bass to immersive content. The subwoofer can be placed anywhere up to 6.7 metres away and can be tailored to the user’s preferences using the BassAdjust feature, which optimises the blending of low frequencies between the soundbar and subwoofer.
Using Apple AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Spotify Connect and Bluetooth connectivity, users can access millions of songs and podcasts via high-quality Wi-Fi streaming.
Just 37cm wide, the soundbar features an advanced five-speaker array and a wireless down-firing subwoofer to create a 3D soundstage.
Creating a lifelike, cinematic listening experience, the MagniFi Mini AX utilises certified Dolby Atmos and DTS:X surround sound. Adding to this, Polk engineers further enhanced the surround experience by integrating its patented fourth-generation SDA technology to make an even wider, more accurate soundstage than provided by Dolby Atmos or DTS:X alone. Engineers have also included 3D Audio Mode which up-mixes the audio to 360-degree virtual surround sound, including virtual height channels.
With dialogue clarity in mind, MagniFi Mini AX features Polk’s patented VoiceAdjust speech-clarifying technology which works synergistically with the soundbar’s dedicated centre channel driver, allowing users to increase the level of voices without affecting the rest of the soundtrack.
The sound performance can be tailored according to the content using Movie and Music Modes, while Night Mode simultaneously increases the dialogue and decreases bass for late-night watching without disturbing children in bed or neighbours.
For a total immersive surround sound experience, users can add Polk’s SR2 wireless speakers for additional multidimensional Dolby Atmos or DTS:X 5.1 playback.
The soundbar has an OLED display to make setting easier to understand and disappears when not in use. MagniFi Mini AX come with a remote, works with most TV remotes out the box, and is Roku TV Ready for even easier set up and control.
