French speaker manufacturer Devialet doesn’t do things by halves, so when planning to add to its critically-esteemed wireless speaker line it fully intends to make it worth a customer’s while – on this occasion with 60% more power.

Billed as not only being more “powerful” but “affordable” for the market, Devialet’s latest offerings outputs 1200W of power (compared to the 750W offered by previous models), sitting in between the 3000W Silver Phantom and Gold Phantom models.

The latest Phantom speaker incorporates the latest version of the manufacturer’s ADH2 technology.

The 60% power increase isn’t just for new owners of speakers, as it comes via an Elevate software update that owners of previous Phantom models can also benefit from.

The speaker comes on its own (for £1,290 in the UK – that’s £100 cheaper than the original) or bundled with a ‘Treepod’ stand (for a cool £1,390).
