Job description:

The Multi-Room Company are exclusive UK distributors of several high quality A/V, networking and CI products, the most notable being Russound distributed audio systems and Key Digital HD video matrixes.

Our strengths lie in technical support, training and development by staff who all have extensive experience within the industry and are committed to giving their customers the highest standards of service.

We are looking to expand our operations and coverage within the UK and require two independent technical sales agents who are willing to represent our brands.

Qualifications/ experience:

The areas in need of coverage are the Midlands and the North West and we would ideally be looking for the following qualities;

-Strong technical knowledge of the custom installation industry and its products although experience of our products is not essential.
-A proven track record of selling highly specialist products to a highly specialist customer base.
-Extensive contacts and strong relationships with potential customers throughout the territories.
-All other skills that would be necessary for a position of this nature.

MESL operates at the very top of the super yacht AV, IT and security systems market. We are seeking two professional Sales Engineers to join our sales team based in Orpington, Kent.

Duties will include:

• Response and subsequent follow up to sales enquiries from customers
• Basic systems design & product selection
• Costing and pricing of equipment and for installation and commissioning
• Creation of high quality presentations for major opportunities
• Reviewing quotation procedures & processes to improve efficiency

Qualifications/ experience:

Job description:

Marine Entertainment Systems Ltd supply and install high end entertainment, IT, communications and security systems for the luxury super yacht market, are seeking a Project Manager with at least 2 years experience managing high end AV and/or IT installations. Work will be based at our offices in Orpington, Kent although travel abroad will also be required from time to time.

Typical duties include the following:
Ensuring that projects are completed to a high standard of quality, within agreed timescales, within budget and that contract terms are met.
Liaison with clients and suppliers.
Liaison with the purchasing department to ensure timely procurement and delivery.
Liaison with our accounts department to ensure project finances can be efficiently managed.
Agreement of variations to specification with client.
Attendance at site meetings.
Scheduling labour resource.
Tracking progress and reporting important issues or deviations from plan to senior management in a timely fashion.
Overseeing system installation and handover to client.
Arranging production of professionally presented as built documentation for our clients.
Preparation of job scope for use by our installation engineer's on site and maintenance of Task List.
Compilation of project status reports (where applicable) for both internal and external use

Qualifications/ experience:

The applicant will have at least a basic technical knowledge of AV and networking type systems and will be competent using software such as MS Office, MS Project and a basic ability to use AutoCAD for viewing and modifying drawings. A creative flair and a keen eye for aesthetics would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will have significant technical knowledge of AV, be able to design control systems and rack layouts, create schematics, assembly drawings and BOMs, analyse and resolve technical problems for MESL customers, source suitable equipment of the appropriate standard to create a complete design solution, plan and implement future AV development, have a can do attitude, be a clear communicator and be self-motivated.
