Simpliciti Announces Shipping of the Home Organizer, the First Electronic Counter-Top Device Designed for the Entire Family

The First Affordable, Multi-User Organizer Easily Merges Family and Work Schedules; Attachable Printer Allows One-Button Printing of Information

Simpliciti, Inc. today announced initial shipments of its Home Organizer, the first multi-user electronic device specifically designed to organize today's busy family. The product launch coincides with National Get Organized Week, which is Oct. 5-11, an annual event sponsored by the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO).

Simpliciti's Home Organizer is the first product to bridge the gap between expensive, business-oriented personal digital assistants (PDAs) and single-user, tiny-screen electronic organizers. The unit lets five people share all Home Organizer functions, including scheduling, phone, quick and easy recipes, shopping and to-do lists, with each user having its own database. The device also features a convenient, attachable printer for producing hardcopy of family schedules, shopping lists, phone numbers, etc.

With the Home Organizer, family members now can easily share schedules to help balance work and home life. All users can update the master schedule to highlight "double booking" conflicts. In addition, users of Microsoft Outlook can quickly import their activities into the family schedule or add family events to their calendars through Simpliciti's PC Synch software.

"Members of a busy family can spend an hour a day just looking for stuff, schedules, phone numbers, etc.," said Tareq Risheq, CEO and founder of Simpliciti. "The Home Organizer is the first affordable electronic product that a family can use to get organized. It's so simple to use that everyone in the family will see immediate benefits."

The Home Organizer is complementary to personal digital assistants or PDAs and can share information through synching with a PC. "Much like PDAs help organize a person's office, our device organizes the family and the home," Risheq continued.

Each Home Organizer includes:

* Schedules: Each individual's schedule can be entered which updates the family's master calendar to highlight conflicts.

* An attachable printer: Quick and convenient printing of family schedules, shopping lists, recipes, etc.

* PC Synch: Software that makes it easy to exchange schedules and phone lists with Microsoft Outlook.

* Recipes: Includes 500 "quick and easy" recipes from recipezaar.com that include nutritional information. Others can be easily added.

* Additional organization tools: phone/address, to-do and shopping lists, calculator, alarm, notes and timer.

At 5-1/2 inches by 9-1/2 inches (5-1/2 inches by 12-1/2 inches with the printer), the Home Organizer is extremely portable for around-the-house use or it can be wall mounted. The eight-line screen is larger than most organizers or PDAs, permits effortless reading without eyestrain, and its comfortable keyboard makes input a breeze. The Home Organizer's "one-button simplicity" gives all family members quick and easy access to their information.
