Artcoustic at CEDIA UK 2004 (8/6/2004)

This years Cedia Expo proved to be the best yet. Cedia UK records were broken in all categories. More people, more training and a bigger exhibition. The Fusion Lounge proved to be one of the highlights, and showed why the installation industry is going from strength to strength.

The main cinema consisted of Artcoustic Loudspeakers with a Screen Research acoustically transparent screen. Barco provided the projector, Sherbourn the amplification with Crestron control and Lutron lighting. This room proved that aesthetics and performance are no longer mutually exclusive. Screen Research and Artcoustic Loudspeakers together enable us to finally put the speakers where they are supposed to be - behind the screen!

The Artcoustic DF75-55 was chosen for the Fusion Lounge, with Artcoustic Diablo Monitors for the rear channels and the DFS100-75 subwoofer providing the bottom end. This is effectively the same system installed at the Electric Cinema www.electriccinema.co.uk.

The all important "Chill-Out" Lounge gave us all a place to relax and enjoy a beer. Cyrus provided their excellent Linkserver to ensure we were never out of high quality music. Sherbourn amplification again powered the Artcoustic Loudspeakers, in this system, the flagship DFF180-43.
