News Kinetics Noise Control Acoustical Doors Isolate Sound Perfectly (13/10/2005) Kinetics Noise Control's flat-panel door is constructed with unfinished poplar or oak skins that encapsulate a barrier material and sound absorbers. These materials outperform a solid wood door's ability to chamber sound by incorporating a resiliently suspended barrier within the door construction. The Kinetics acoustical door is specified with top-quality acoustical seals and retractable surface mount sweeps. Upon request, the sweep can be recessed inside the bottom of the door. The door is also available as a pre-hung door with custom jam sizes. Kinetics Noise Control Acoustical Doors are available in standard and custom sizes up to 4' x 8'. Custom skins are also available upon request.
