security products (27/7/2006)
Leading electrical manufacturer, Micromark,
sponsors of National Home Security Week (taking place 21-27th August
2006), is encouraging retailers to stock up on domestic security
products in the run up to the Bank Holiday week. Alarms, CCTV, security
lighting, safes and timers are all set to see a surge in demand
from customers.
Micromark will be offering trade customers
special promotions across its home security product portfolio during
National Home Security Week - see your local Micromark distributor
for more details and to request copies of the new 'Insider's Guide
to Home Security', see right.
Nathan Cole, Security Product Manager at
Micromark, comments: "For the fifth anniversary of National Home
Security Week, indications are that 2006 will be even more successful
than last year's initiative. Therefore we are recommending that
electrical wholesalers, retailers and independents stock up on security
products well in advance to meet the anticipated increase in demand
that will be generated by our extensive public relations and promotions
programme."
National Home Security Week 2006 will be
supported by: * A direct marketing campaign across the UK in conjunction
with Crime Reduction/Prevention Officers, Neighbourhood Watch schemes
and Victim Support offices * A specifically designed website; www.homesecurityweek.co.uk
* Public relations activity within trade and consumer press * In
addition, Micromark is working in partnership with Crimestoppers
and The Home Office
Micromark's home security portfolio enables
both wholesalers and retailers to offer their customers the ideal
solution, whatever their domestic security needs. Popular items
during National Home Security Week are expected to include CCTV,
alarms, safes, lighting and timers.
