Tenvera Unveils System 5 Fiber Optics Solution (7/9/2006)
CEDIA US Expo 2006
New technology is poised to change the way
people all over the world live, entertain and work in their homes.
Tenvera is unveiling its new System 5 (Fiber Optics To The House)
solution to about 30,000 professionals in Denver, Colorado at the
Custom Electronic Design and Instillation Association (CEDIA) convention
September 14 -17, 2006.
This fiber optic network can now be built
into the walls of homes, commercial and condominium buildings. The
hair-fine plastic tubes are installed behind walls and have the
capacity to move up to 100 times the amount of information and data
at lightening speed compared to copper wiring that everybody has
used for years.
With at least 1 Gigabits of power, System
5 is the new "backbone" that makes it possible to run as many data,
media and gaming systems in your house as you could possibly want.
That means clearer pictures on all of the HDTVs that are showing
different movies in each room of your house through the dozens of
DVDs in your home movie automated library; faster internet and video
streaming on all the computers for every family member; and instant
gratification playing the latest computer and video games for the
neighborhood kids that all gather at your house because you have
the fastest, clearest connection.
Through word of mouth, demand for the technology
has already taken off and Tenvera headquarters is fielding requests
from around the globe for its product even before it will officially
premiere next month in Denver.
The System 5 will take the place of the many
wires that now service a home's cable televisions, CAT5 Cable (used
for DSL or computer connections), security system, phone lines for
telephone and fax, remote controls, video servers and home automation
systems.
CAT5, CAT5e, CAT6 copper systems can no longer
handle the endless appetite for bandwidth power for work and leisure
that people are now demanding in their homes.
"Five years ago dial-up was OK, today it's
not. Two years from now the speed of broadband is going to be lightening
fast compared to anything available up until now. In order to remain
competitive in the global market and fully exploit the innovation
and creativity that American firms are known for, we must integrate
and upgrade now," Brent Ware, CEO of Tenvera, says.
What makes Tenvera's System 5 solution so
attractive to homeowners, developers and home automation specialists?
1. It "future proofs" and increases the value
of a new home in much the same way that air conditioning did when
it first came out. Houses without System 5 may be "charming relics"
in years to come, but won't be attractive to homebuyers that have
to open up the walls to install what will become standard in houses
2. It provides almost 100 times the bandwidth
to transmit pictures, voice and data faster and clearer than has
ever been possible, and no one in the family has to slow down to
accommodate anyone else using systems in the house
3. It is easy to use. The fiber optics take
up very little space behind the walls and by sticking a little memory
card in any outlet in any room you can change the use from a phone
line, to an electrical outlet to internet access
4. It is easy to install, easier even than
the old copper wiring. No crimping, no cutting, no extra tools.
Tenvera's new patented technology allows the fiber optics to be
easily installed without specialized training.
