News USD shows TechVision waterproof televisions at CEDIA UK Expo (29/6/2007) CEDIA UK Expo 2007 Ideal for bathrooms and British Summers Distributed in the UK by leading custom installation distributor, USD Limited, selected waterproof television from TechVision will be on show at the Cedia Expo 2007 on booth B15 TechVision's smart 5 inch waterproof television has been designed to fit into a wall space approximately the size of a ceramic tile. The unit is recessed into the wall, with all leads being fed into the cavity wall space behind. It comes with a waterproof ceiling speaker and remote control (not waterproof). When installed, this television is splash proof, making it ideal for use in a bathroom, shower, kitchen area, etc. The 5 inch television is available in either a white, black or silver finish to match most rooms, and competitively priced to retail at around £200. TechVision has also introduced a brand new 10.4 inch Digital Waterproof television, perfect for adding a touch of luxury to the bathroom and other wet areas. This sleek, white television has built-in speakers and a waterproof remote control. Installation is very straightforward, with the TV being either securely fastened directly onto the wall surface, or mounted using a Vesa-wall bracket. Unlike most other 'waterproof' television sets, there is no need for a wall recess as the back of this television is also completely waterproof. The suggested retail price will be about £650. All TechVision models are CE certified; carry an appropriate IP water rating certificate and are covered by a 24 month UK warranty.
