News Infusebox Introduces Powerful New Module To Greatly Enhance Integration Of HAI Security Systems (29/8/2007) Booth 3606, CEDIA US Expo 2007 Introduction of new module and new GUIs will be highlighted at CEDIA Expo Infusebox, Inc., a leading electronic design and programming company in the residential custom electronics market, announced today the introduction of a newly developed application module that will dramatically improve the integration of HAI's Omni Pro line of security systems hardware into systems utilizing automation and integration technology from Crestron. With today's announcement, integrators and programmers will now have a module and resource that will make security system integration seamless and more powerful than ever before. "Infusebox, in association with HAI, is please to announce the release of a powerful new Crestron module allowing integration with HAI Omni Pro security systems. This new module provides the integrator with a potent and flexible new tool, allowing seamless security integration between these two prominent manufacturers" announced company founder, Tom Milpacher. "Considering that application modules must share space with other Crestron processor tasks, this new module is designed to have a minimal impact on overall system resources - in short, it plays well with others" explained Tom. "This lean coding approach also yields a significant speed improvement realized in actual use. Understanding that projects often have a range of touch panel sizes, this innovative module also provides full zone feedback, even on smaller touch panels." In addition to release of the new HAI module, Infusebox is working diligently to increase awareness of the host of services they provide to integrators, architects, designers and developers. "Infusebox is a paradigm shift in how technology is integrated into the home. Rather than the traditional business model of a sales/installation company, Infusebox follows the path of the architect, engineer and interior designer" explains lighting designer and CEO, Jenny Milpacher. Working with integrators and end-clients directly, Infusebox provides a design approach to the process, offer such services as: * Green environmental control design * Touch screen & User Interaction design (Please see attached image) * Lighting Design - since lighting compliments great architecture * Complete project concept and design engineering * Custom programming and integration "In a home where the black boxes are completely hidden, what remains very visible is the user interface. Rather than typical high tech touch panel designs, Infusebox favors true graphic design that blends with the dcor of the home" adds Tom. "Ease of use is of equal importance. Our user interfaces are simply elegant requiring few instructions to operate. Guests will easily find themselves "at home" with the system." Infusebox places a great deal of emphasis on the discrete and tasteful integration of technology into the overall design concept. "Design matters. We have made great strides as an industry finding clever ways to tastefully integrate black boxes into home dcor. Just hiding technology doesnât qualify for great design however" explains Jenny. "Great design is about the complete experience. It is also about the quality of our interaction with technology, and how it can help us live well." Infusebox will be exhibiting its range of services at CEDIA EXPO in Denver, from September 6th -9th in booth 3606.
