ACA-Apex shows its Compact Residential Infrastructure System (20/5/2008) Stand B23, CEDIA UK Expo 2008 ACA-Apex Limited will be showing the original and unique CRIS (Compact Residential Infrastructure System) and related products again at Cedia this year, but for the first time in some years will be exhibiting in their own right under the banner of ACA-Apex. To celebrate this fact the company will be giving away "free" a quantity of sample brush faceplates and other products to the first 50 relevant visitors on each day in exchange for a business card and a chat.
Why the change? In January of this year the company moved to a flatter sales structure and moved closer to the custom installer by selling direct. What does this mean to custom installers? Taking out the middle man has meant that on the companies brands there is a greater margin available to custom installers, and even though there have been some substantial cost increases this year, the recommended end user prices have been maintained ensuring that the product range is truly affordable and therefore competitive in the market place. What else has changed? This year the company has started to distribute other focused brands such as mood lighting and the renowned Jamo speaker and electronics range. As it seeks to provide the convenience of a one stop shop to installers products are being added all of the time and the company is open to suggestions from its customers. What help is provided? This year the company has introduced CRIS design, engineering and installer training. The one day course (available one Friday or Saturday per month) covers designing effective solutions, product training, hands on termination and open discussion. The minimal charge of £75 is refundable against future orders of the CRIS system. On top of that the company is always at the end of the phone to help with technical queries.
