AWE unveils new products from market leading brands (21/5/2008) Stands D14 and D15 , CEDIA UK Expo 2008 * New Cineversum BlackWing Three on Display AWE, the leading trade supplier to the UK CI market, will be showcasing brand innovations for Cineversum, Philips Pronto and Pioneer and revealing details of its new distribution agreement with Imerge on stands D14 and D15 at CEDIA Expo 2008. The AWE Solutions House will demonstrate to visitors how a Philips Pronto control system can be used for integrated, two-way control of audio, video, lighting, security and other devices across a whole house, whilst off the show floor AWE will be providing free trade supplier training for a number of its key brands.
The stunning, new Cineversum BlackWing Three HD projector will be on display for the first time in the UK on the AWE stand and can be scrutinised by visitors in the on-stand home cinema demo room. This 1080p D-iLA projector has a full-glass optical lens, motorized zoom and focus and is compatible with Cineversum's Theatre Concept Kit to enable true anamorphic projection on demand. AWE will also be making the news thanks to its distribution agreement with another premier CI brand, Imerge. Visitors to the stand will be able find out more about Imerge media and sound servers for which AWE is now the only authorised distributor in the UK. The full range of Imerge music and media servers are available from AWE including the world's best selling SoundServer and the ground-breaking MS-5000 Media Server, providing the highest quality replay of music and movies, bar none. The media player extends the 4 zone audio outputs to up to 5 zones of video too. Key products from this range will be on show at Expo. From its screens portfolio AWE will be showing another UK CI first, the brand new G9 Pioneer PDP-LX509D 50" Kuro screen. New Panasonic 8 series of screens will also be on show, with much improved black levels plus toughened glass fronts in response to an increasing number of Wii accidents!! Also look out for a European first from Panasonic. Pulling all these together, AWE will also be revealing the latest developments in the Philips Pronto control solution. Hands-on demos will be available throughout the show for the Pronto TSU-9200, TSU-9400 and the TSU-9600 with the AWE Solutions House acting as the star attraction. This will show how equipment from a range of AWE brands including Imerge, Denon, Panasonic, Philips and a soon to be announced lighting system, can be controlled in a live, integrated whole house set-up using the Philips Pronto. AWE is offering free training at Expo with courses on offer including Pronto Level 2, Advanced ProntoScript programming and Imerge media servers. These courses are being presented as part of the free CEDIA Trade Suppliers training programme and provide a valuable opportunity for delegates to learn more about these key products.
