The Multi-Room Company introduces new UK specific wall switches for CentraLite Elite lighting control system (21/5/2008) To coincide with the introduction of the new Elite lighting control system from CentraLite, The Multi-Room Company have invested in tooling for new UK only wall switches. The UK switches are a result of customer demand from installers and interior designers who, recognising the advantages of CentraLite's affordable lighting control systems, required a UK size switch that would fit standard UK back boxes. The new switches are available in two, four or six button variants and can be supplied from stock finished in brushed steel, polished chrome or (to order) a range of premium custom finishes. Each version features screwless mounting for an umblemished aesthetic that will blend with other contemporary wall sockets and switches. The new Elite lighting control system bridges the gap between CentraLite's entry level LiteJet system and the flagship Elegance product and is suitable for residential or light commercial use. Up to 60 scenes and 36 timed events can be stored to generate the required lighting arrangement for any occasion. An onboard astronomical clock automatically adjusts the lighting as required as day length changes through the year. Easy to use PC based software enables system configurations to be carried out on site. CentraLite's products provide an affordable way to easily manage energy resources in the home and office environment. Intelligent dimming controls scale back power consumption (extending bulb life), which together with timed on/off features, preset lighting levels and master controls for whole building management, enable the Elite System (and all CentraLite products) to conform to the very stringent Californian Title 24 energy conservation legislation.
