Bjurab Euroscreen Launches New Screen Materials and Products at CEDIA Expo (22/5/2008) Stand A1, CEDIA UK Expo 2008 Reacting to customer requirements, Bjurab Euroscreen, the Swedish based projection screen manufacturer with offices also and warehousing at Corby in the UK, will launch a number of new products at this year’s CEDIA Exhibition. Included in these is an innovative new screen material called ReAct! New screen types added to the Bjurab range, will include the company’s first tab-tension models. These are electric screens, available in a wide variety of sizes and formats, which have a cable system running down each side of the screen to keep the surface taut and smooth, ideal for high-end and home cinema applications. The latest Sesame screen is also very suitable for these type of installations. This is because the cassette of the screen is mounted above the ceiling and so out of sight to those in the room. However, when required, the screen descends from a slim slot in the housing, into the room for use. Again, a wide range of sizes and square, video and widescreen formats are available. All of the above screen types from Bjurab, and many others in their existing range, can now be equipped with the revolutionary new ReAct material. This features a dual coated surface that is designed to control ambient light. The bottom layer of the screen helps to provide good contrast whilst the top layer reflects ambient light and enhances the white and coloured elements of the projected image. This material is being offered by Bjurab for the first time at a competitive price point and so expands the market for Bjurab screens and hence the market opportunity for dealers and installers.
