Unique Automation and Rako controls have teamed up to produce a Bathomatic-RAKO interface. Custom installers can now utilise Bathomatic (RS232, TCP/IP) to give ultimate control of a RAKO lighting system including control for curtains, blinds, projection screens etc. In the future all RAKO 7 button wall plates with have the option for Bathomatic functionality, enabling remote running of baths using presets 1-4 on up to 256 Bathomatic systems, perfect for installation where structural cabling is not in place. Any new RAKO installation can use Bathomatic's functions and existing systems can be upgraded. Amina’s innovative ‘plaster in wall’ speakers provide the perfect sonic accompaniment to our minimalist bathovision TV while reducing aesthetic impact. Keen to work with others, Unique Automation has used the networking opportunities provided by CEDIA in building mutually beneficial relationships with both compaies. MD of Unique Automation, Fredy Vasilev, comments: “A great deal of time has been spent on ensuring Unique Automation’s products can be used both standalone and fully integrated into an automated home. Along with our dedicated control panels we also provide RS232, telnet and web based interfaces. These new collaborations demonstrate how versatile our products can be and their ability to expand the horizons of home automation yet further.”
