Comm-Tec distributes the Weibel Projector Lift in Germany and Austria (27/5/2008)

COMM-TEC and Weibel Lift AG announced today that they will start to work together for the German and Austrian market. COMM-TEC will be the sole distributor for the Weibel Projector and the television lift.

Based near Stuttgart, Germany, with offices throughout Europe, COMM-TEC is the leading pro-AV distribution organization in Europe with a comprehensive portfolio of brands including Analog Way, Da-Lite, DNP, Lutron, Middle Atlantic Products, Samsung and Stardraw, to name just a few. COMM-TEC serves all AV market sectors from control, audio, lighting, video, presentation technology, signal management as well as show and event control.

The two companies start working together May 15, 2008. Mr. Hans Weibel of Weibel Lift AG will train COMM-TEC internal staff at the Head Quarters of COMM-TEC in Uhingen in May to transfer the quality and precision knowledge of the products between the two companies

Weibel Lift AG just launched the new Mini Projector Lift at the PALME show in Dubai and will launch a new television lift at the CEDIA in London in June.

While traditional scissor lifts also lack precision when opening and closing the hatch, all Weibel Projector Lifts use a patented spindle system that allows it to move up and down with Swiss-style precision. The maximum horizontal deviation is 0.1mm (less then 2 human hairs) when the lift is in the upper or lower position. The precision of the Weibel Projector Lifts ensure that these lift will not jam, and makes the lift, once it is up in the ceiling, almost invisible until operated.
