Control4 expands operations in the UK and EMEA (2/6/2008)

Control4 and Aventure, the UK Distributor, have agreed to form Control4 EMEA to grow business in the region

Control4 EMEA has been established to facilitate expansion throughout the region. “Now that Control4 have established in the UK, we are set for excellent growth in the rest of the territory” states Tony Leedham VP Sales Control4 EMEA. “In addition there will be several new products to be released this summer that will further enhance the low cost, yet versatile, Control4 Home Automation solution”.

Aventure will continue to operate as a distributor of Control4 accessory products/services such as Card Access, Global Cache and DSC. This will ensure that Control4 installers have access to a full range of third party products that will enhance their Control4 systems.

Due for release over the coming months are several new products.

The first release will be the in-wall 7” widescreen panel, available July 2008.

A further user benefit is remote monitoring of the home by subscribing to 4Sight. This subscription service allows the homeowner to monitor and control their home from any web browser. In addition, they can view IP cameras on the in-wall touch panel. The Control4 system can also be programmed to send email alerts.
