Optimum International showcases a new range of purpose designed AV furniture at CEDIA Expo 2008 (5/6/2008)

Stand F15, CEDIA UK Expo 2008

CEDIA will see the UK launch of a new range of products from one of the top selling, high end TV furniture specialists in the US. The full product catalogue from US designers BDI will be available exclusively to the UK electrical retail trade and custom installation market via Optimum from June 2008.

The Optimum stand at CEDIA (Stand F15) will feature a selection of models from BDI's highly desirable product portfolio. Optimum's Managing Director John Ogden says: "Our business is about designing AV furniture with in-built style and savvy functionality to suit modern lifestyles. Our exclusive partnership with BDI will enable us to offer a much wider range of lifestyle-lead design options."

He adds: "Gone are the days of simply producing basic furniture designs with glass shelves and metal rods. Over the past year we've seen a real growth in demand for closed cabinet designs. The current demand is for relatively traditional real wood cabinets, as well as more contemporary furniture designs and finishes."

Yorkshire-based, family-run firm Optimum is one of the UK's leading suppliers of stylish, purpose designed AV furniture. Now celebrating eleven years of trading, Optimum has an extensive product portfolio and also offers a modular range, available with a wide choice of component sizes and finishes. This enables customers to create a bespoke AV furniture solution to exactly match their individual requirements.
