NuVo Technologies' Essentia E6G six-source, six-zone multi-room audio system is now available with a new UK-style keypad.

Users of Essentia E6G, the most energy-efficient multi-room audio system ever devised, can now enjoy an enticingly compact, feature-rich Control Pad, complete with one-inch OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) display. OLED provides high contrast and increased legibility in any light and at any angle. OLED also consumes less energy than traditional LCD or VFD displays.

The Control Pad screen features four lines of text in adjustable font sizes for easy menu navigation and intelligent metadata delivery. Its unique tactile buttons are surrounded by an attractive and durable polycarbonate surface, and its coplanar Plexiglas keys fit flush against the sleek, scratch-resistant material, resulting in a smooth, pristine finish. Not only does this affordable Control Pad create a high-quality look and feel, but it's also water-resistant because of a rubber membrane layered beneath the buttons.

Essentia E6G's main amplification unit supplies 40 watts to each of six (12 with the system expander) zones. Philips Class D amplification, coupled with the digital new state-of-the-art, switching power supply, keeps the system running cool, offering protection from heat related equipment failure, which is the primary cause of any system's performance issues. The switch power supply also keeps up with the Essentia E6G's theme of efficiency. The remarkably lightweight unit occupies only a single vertical rack space.
