IXOS shows new custom install cables, mounts and HDMI solutions (20/6/2008)

Long HDMI runs up to 35 metres for Installers
IXOS XHT808 Active HDMI Repeater (pic attached) When cable lengths over 11 metres are required, IXOS offers a state-of-the-art solution, the XHT808 Repeater. This combines active iVEC technology with a signal line amplifier.

This is an active solution using the 5 Volt lead within the HDMI signal cable to power the microchip. With the XHT808 on the line, it will allow 1080p to be transmitted up to 25 metres and up to 35 metres for 720p/1080i.

Four into One HDMI 1.3 1080p switching
The XHT948 four-into-one Switcher unit allows installers to hook up to four HDMI sources to a single display, with full data monitoring, error LED alerts for improper, or no signal, and input LEDs for each signal. The specification also includes an RS-232 control port so the unit can be controlled by Crestron or AMX

Installer-friendly Flat-Screen mounts
The flat panel TV mount market has no shortage of competitive products, so IXOS have come up with a compact range which offers a very simple decision making process for the installer.

Three decisions to choose the perfect mount
The IXOS range has universal bolt patterns and a small, medium, large range so the consumer or installer has only to ask three simple questions:
1. How big is the screen?
2. Is a low profile, tilt, or full motion mount the ideal solution?
3. Choose easy-to-install standard Studio range, or the more sophisticated styling and higher specification of the full featured Overture range

All mounts are CL-tested to four times their capacity so as long as the right mount is matched to the right screen size installers can be safe in the knowledge that the mount will support the weight.

Mounts come ready-assembled in the box with all fittings and fixtures included and once installed, the mounts are incredibly easy to use.
